Thank you for your interest and inquiry in the Ocean Reef Club. If you are considering visiting for the first time, we hope that you will allow us to set up a land or sea tour at your convenience. If you are fortunate enough to have the time, we hope you'll allow us to help with your accommodation.

Ocean Reef Club is a "members only" resort club. It is one of the finest and most unique clubs in the world. You are welcome to visit an Ocean Reef Club guest on a limited basis and we hope that your stay with us convinces you to pursue membership and become involved in our wonderful community.

There are two forms of memberships available. They are "Property Owner" (Equity Member) and "Non-Property Owner" (Social Member.) Both entitle you to use the Club's facilities and provide various levels of benefits. These memberships represent an ownership interest in one of the most exclusive private clubs IN THE WORLD. Your membership also entitles you to one vote on Club matters and the election of the Board which is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Club.

MORE SPECIFICALLY ABOUT MEMBERSHIP:

NON-RESIDENT SOCIAL MEMBERSHIPS (Excluding residents of Monroe & Miami Dade Counties) Non-resident members are entitled to all of the privileges of membership (which includes access to all of the Club’s amenities, restaurants, lounges, two championship golf courses, the lawn & tennis club & beach club). Members also receive complimentary tennis and croquet usage, preferred rates for golf, dockage, and golf cart rental. The initiation fee is *$9,000.00 with annual dues of **$2,535. Requires two member sponsors, one must be an equity member.

LOCAL SOCIAL MEMBERSHIPS (For residents of Monroe & Miami-Dade Counties). 1) Applicant must be a member of one of the approved clubs listed with the membership department. 2) Requires two equity member sponsors 3) Requires Board approval. Initiation fee $40,000 with annual dues of **$4,635.

The PROPERTY OWNER MEMBERSHIP consists of a CHARTER EQUITY MEMBERSHIP which is presently offered for *$215,000.00 with annual dues of **$4,500.00 ($200,000. equity membership + $15,000. non-refundable capital contribution). This membership offers many special privileges and benefits which include use of all Club facilities, priority reservations, preferred rates, and the holder is entitled to acquire a golf option on an annual basis, (refer to "Equity Membership Option" for further details).

The equity is sold separately through the Membership Office in addition to the purchase of any property. It is never included with the sales price. Should an owner choose to sell their property and equity (the equity membership can only be transferred to the Club's membership department), the owner/member will receive 80% of the current $200,000.00 membership fee. We would be happy to discuss membership options with you further when the time is right.

We are confident you'll agree that Ocean Reef is a very special place for everyone. There are many services, facilities, and accommodations to offer. In addition to some of the best land and water sports and worlds best fishing and scuba diving, there is an on-site school house (K-8) offering seasonal and full time programs, a scuba and fly fishing school, restaurants, banks, shopping, a medical center, 24 hour gated security and much more (a more detailed list is available upon request).

Sunny days and starlit nights further enhance our atmosphere, especially when the temperature drops up North. Ocean Reef's location is so close to the Gulf Stream that is affords us the opportunity of providing warm winters (64-77 degrees) and cooler than average summers (77-89 degrees).
